Q. Do I need to be on VPN? | |
A. No. You do not need to be on VPN to access it. Magic Lamp is an open website and available 24X7 to serve you. | |
Q. Can I change my username for Magic Lamp? | |
A. No, you cannot. Magic Lamp username is restricted to user’s corporate email ID for security reasons. | |
Q. How can I register myself to Magic Lamp? | |
A. Every user can access Magic Lamp with limited access where they can search and view assets. To get download access, you need to email to magiclamp@allscripts.com and with your manager business justification. Once your request is approved, Magic Lamp admin will provide you the access. You will receive an email with your username and password. We recommend to change your password after 1st login. | |
Q. What if I am unable to get asset(s) I am looking for? | |
A. We suggest you to try with more accurate and relevant keywords. Magic Lamp team is adding new assets and soon will start the Request New Asset feature where you can post your requirement and the Graphic Designers will create them. | |
Q. How many images can I download at a time? | |
A. There is no limit for download. You can download any number of images according to your need. Please refer to the Terms of Usage before dowloading. | |
Q. I am not a part of Education service Team. Can I download Magic Lamp assets? | |
A. You can access Magic Lamp with limited access. You can view but can not download the assets. For download access, you need to email magiclamp@allscripts.com and your manager with business justification. Once your request is approved, Magic Lamp admin will provide you the access. You will receive an email with your username and password. We recommend to change your password after 1st login. | |
Q. I want to use an image for my course. How to download it? | |
A. Once you find an image you want to download, ensure that you are logged in. Then, simply click the thumbnail to go to the File details page. Click the Download button. | |
Q. How can I change my password? | |
A. You can change you password from your 'My Profile' page. To access 'My Profile' click 'Welcome |

Q. I forgot my password. How do I get one now? | |
A. If you forget your password, click the Forgot Password link on the login page. Enter your email address and submit. You will receive the password in you inbox. | |
Q. How can I request for a new image? | |
A. For a new image, please work with your assigned Graphic Designer. The new image will be later added to Magic Lamp. | |
Q. How can I refine my search. | |
A. On the left-hand side of the search page there is a section “Filter by category”. Here you can refine your results based on:

Q. How can I edit keywords? | |
A. Click the thumbnail to go to File details page. Click the Edit to open the Edit media page. Make the changes in the keyword and click Update. | |
Q. Can I use the downloaded images for projects outside Education Services? | |
A. You are not allowed to use any images outside Education Services. Please read the Terms of Usage for details. | |
Q. How do I contact an artist? | |
A. Please work with your assigned Graphic Designer to edit or creat new assets. The new image will be later added to Magic Lamp. | |
Q. Can I upload images? | |
A. Upload rights are only limited to Graphic Designers. So, you can only upload an image if you are a Graphic Designer. | |
Q. I received an error while attempting to download. What do I do? | |
A. Please write to magiclamp@allscripts.com to solve any technical issues. | |
Q. I couldn't find what I found earlier. | |
A. We suggest you to try with more accurate and relevant keywordsor with an image ID (example: ML171). Please note that few assets can be removed by Magic Lamp admins due to noncompliance of Term of Usage. In this case, you may not the find the asset Magic Lamp that you found earlier. | |
Q. Can I access Magic Lamp via other devices? E.g. iPad, iPhone, Mac | |
A. Yes, you can access Magic Lamp via iPad, iPhone, or Mac. | |

A. You can still access Magic Lamp with limited access where you can search and view assets. Q. How long it takes to create an account? | |
A. Admin would create your account immediately after getting your request for it with the required data. | |
Q. My profile name appears incorrect. How do I change it? | |
A. To correct your Profile name please write to magiclamp@allscripts.com. |
